Really quick history about me, I love food (who doesn’t?). I’ve been a vegetarian for more than half of my life and wouldn’t change it for the world. Since I’ve always had a different eating style from my family I had to learn how to cook food that I would actually want to eat. Fast forward years later and I think I make some pretty good vegetarian dishes with my specialty being pasta and stew type dishes. I’ve mastered creating healthy dishes using vegetables, brown grains and lots of seasonings to create flavorful foods. Unfortunately, I’ve hit a snag in my food journey.
Everything is starting to taste the same and I just haven’t been inspired to cook; better yet I’ve been wanting something really good but I don’t know what that something is. So what’s the point of this post? I’ve come to the conclusion that I may need to start incorporating new recipes from other sources into my routine. To try this out I plan to cook 2-3 new recipes a week that I’ve collected from around the web, food magazines and cookbooks. Of course I’ll keep you updated on the progress and share recipes, photos and videos of what I’ve created. I’ve already started my search and have found a few intriguing recipes like a tortilla casserole and a delicious looking ravioli florentine.
