Plus Fashion Week Chicago hosted a ladies night with Lush Cosmetics and Vive la Femme last week and it was definitely a blast! I must stop and say this, if you live in the Chicago area and love Lush Cosmetics, you must visit the Bucktown location! Everyone was so attentive, informative and just great to be around!
The night started at Lush and I sampled a lot of stuff! I tested out the coconut shampoo, the Therapy Bars, a cocoa butter and coconut oil moisturizer and even got a color reading! Lush recently launched Emotional Brilliance and the way you pick your colors is by way of fortune… or something like that. You eventually end up picking three colors which have words on them; mine were Drive, Independent and Ambition. These words very much fit me me and the colors were bold! Drive was a fab purple, Independent a black gel liner and Ambition a saucy red-orange! I even tried on a couple of the other colors, and though I didn’t snag a bottle this time around, I’m definitely going back to pick up either Perspective or Happiness.
After grabbing some goodies the next stop was Vive la Femme! I wasn’t there when everyone else got there, but from the short time I popped in Stephanie the owner and Amber a sales associate were fabulous. They were attentive, spot on and created a great shopping atmosphere!
All in all this was a fun little preview event and I can’t wait for the actual fashion week in October, because it’s going to be bananas!
