Over the weekend I stopped by the Bobbi Brown counter in Bloomingdale’s at the 900 N. Shops on Michigan Ave and got my face beat! The MUA did a cute dark rusty brown eye, cranberry cheeks and a fabulous shimmering plum lip. To say the least I was so in love with my lips that I had to purchase the lip gloss he used, Plum Gold.
If you know me, then you know when it comes to my lips I live for a nude pinky-brown lip color. With fall just around the corner, my recent lip purchase has me in the mood and mindset of wanting to rock a darker lip for the season. For me this is definitely a challenge, because every year I say that I’m going to rock a dark lip for fall/winter and I never do. But after wearing this fab color in public and actually loving it (also received lots of compliments) I’m all in for the dark lip! Check out some of dark plum colors you just might see me rocking this fall below!

Side note, Azealia Banks is launching a limited edition lipstick, Yung Rupunxel, with MAC which is set to hit the online store September 5. It’s a gorge dark vampy-plum cream lipstick which just might make be added to my fall/winter lipstick collection!
