Summer is the season where we spend the most time outdoors and that can take a toll on our skin; especially our face. When it comes to having refreshed, moisturized skin I keep it simple and go with what my skin loves. The products I use on my skin are affordable and available at your local drugstore or online. Check out my summer skin essentials below!
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser
I use this cleanser daily. I started using this product in high school and it’s been a staple ever since. I lather it on my face every morning in the shower to start the day with refreshed, bright skin. You can find Clean & Clear at your local drugstore.
St. Ives Apricot Scrub
This is also a product that I’ve used for years. It’s important to exfoliate your skin at least one to two times a week to rid the face of dead skin cells. This particular scrub has very small granules that easily rinse away. With all scrubs, be sure to gently exfoliate eliminate any scratches or irritation. This can also be picked up from your local drugstore. 
Que Bella Refining Fruit Enzyme Spa Masque
This is the perfect weekly treat for your face, especially during hot, sweltering summer days. The cooling effects of this mask relaxes and softens my skin while also leaving me calm. This company has a variety of masks to choose from and can be picked up from select Target stores.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè (24-Hour Miracle Cream)
Moisturizing is the most important part of your daily skincare routine. I’ve been using this moisturizer on my face combined with the Vitivia Pro:Vitamin A15 from the same company and I love how it’s been working on my skin. My face stays moisturized all day and I experience fewer breakouts. This moisturizer can be picked up online here.
As for my night routine, it’s very simple. I use Witch Hazel as a toner and rinse with water. If I’ve worn makeup throughout the day I remove it with olive oil or Vaseline. As you can see, the simpler the routine the more effective it is.
