The one thing I love about spring and summer is the addition of color in many people’s wardrobe. It’s just something about fall and winter that makes people want to omit it from the their closets. So imagine how excited I was to see lots of color on the runways for fall 13/winter 14.
Many designers incorporated soft, wintry pastels into their collections and that’s what I plan to kick the first fall 2013 editor’s picks off with. The great thing about winter pastels is, mixing them with dark neutrals and metallic instantly add a softness to your look. I especially like to incorporate pastels into my look with knits.
