The Blair Chic Boutique girl is Curvy, Confident and a Fashionista.
How excited are you for Curves. Couture. Chicago. and how have you been preparing?
I am very excited. It’s my first showing for Thyck Troupe so I have to represent well. I am preparing by selecting the items I would like to showcase for the runway show. Keep it trendy, classy, and wanting more.
What can we expect to see at CCC? Fall/Winter fashion trends from plus size designers all across the USA and overseas. Don’t want to give away to much…..
Why was it important for Blair Chic Boutique to be a part of this event?
The Thyck Troupe is an organization that Blair Chic Boutique stands for and supports. Empowering “thyck” women in their talents and fashion is a wonderful thing and we are excited to be a part of it.
Why is an upscale event as this one important for the curvy and plus size community?
It shows that curvy and plus size fashion can be considered “upscale” as well. We (the plus size community) have made strides with runway fashion – NY Fashion Week, however we still have many barriers to break and milestones to set. And I believe Curves. Couture. Chicago is doing that!
Why should people come out and support this event?
For us to continue to have upscale events like this. Also to enjoy a great show, see great fashions, and an opportunity to network and meet great people!
