Fall is by far my most favorite season! I love to wear cozy sweaters, light jackets and boots. For this week’s look, which I wore on a Sunday, I kept it pretty casual and chic. Old Navy typically releases fun printed sweaters for the fall and winter season and I snagged the grey owl one since the fox seemed to be a little too popular.
I normally wear a small or medium at Old Navy depending on the style, but I wanted to get the sweater a slightly bigger so I can have that oversize, loose fit. For a slim fit I would’ve gotten a small, and for a standard fit a medium (in this particular sweater) but I went for a large to achieve a more relaxed look.
I paired it with simple dark denim skinny jeans and platform mid-calf boots (similar). These boots have a little back story. I got them from JustFab last fall and wore them once and hated them. I think it had to do with how I styled them but I put them in my closet and didn’t pull them out again until this look. This is why I say it’s important to give your pieces a couple of wears before deciding ultimately that you don’t like. Sometimes how it’s styled, or what you’re interested in for that season may not necessarily fit that particular piece. It took me a year, but I definitely love these boots for this season.
To help knock off the slight chill, I wore my army green utility jacket from Forever 21. I kept the jewelry simple with just a nameplate and triangle stud earrings, and of course my Phillip Lim for Target mini satchel. Let me know what you think of this casual look below!
