SPOILER ALERT! (stop reading if you don’t want to know what happens in this episode)
So tonight a new mystery was revealed. Father Paul dies from the crash that closed out the last episode. We find out that Conrad was driving but planned to put the blame on Paul since he shouldn’t have been driving in the first place due to his “Huntington’s Disease”.
Emily finds out that Daniel is helping Conrad cover it up and they have a fight after she tells his magazine about his DUI as payback. Victoria goes to an art gallery asking for a job which we find out was only a set up by her and her son Patrick who sold the owner a painting that legally still belonged to Victoria. This is apparently larcery and Victoria blackmails the woman by having her turn over the gallery to her.

Jack wants in on trying to make Conrad suffer for all of the pain he caused him (killed both his wife and brother). He goes against Emily’s wishes and meets her at a junkyard wear Conrad’s totaled car is. They get pictures that prove Conrad was driving, but Jack also finds out that the brakes on the car had been tampered with, so it didn’t matter who was driving since someone was trying to kill him.
Nolan breaks his no technology pledge and goes digging into Patrick’s background. He finds his ex wife and pays her $20,000 to tell him every single detail about him. He finds out Patrick is indeed into guys and of course they break the suspense when the two kiss in Nolan’s backyard then head in for wine.
Aiden has moved into the guest house on Grayson Manor and wasn’t afraid to let Conrad know he didn’t like him. He finds out from Emily that Jack is trying to help and gets upset about it. Conrad calls everyone to the house with news that it’s been found that he was misdiagnosed and really doesn’t have Huntington’s Disease (shocker) and pledges to take back his role as head of the household.
His first piece of business was to kick Aiden out but Aiden approaches both Victoria and Conrad and lies telling them that Jack tampered with the breaks on the car and that’s why it crashed. And this leads to the burning questions (at least for the next couple of episodes) who’s trying to kill Conrad?
Some takeaways…
– Charlotte is still angry with Emily and I kind of want her to get over it because the situation is dead and done with.
– I’m glad that Jack wants to help and I hope Emily lets him and stops worrying about trying to protect him.
– Obviously Aiden is possessively in love with Emily which is why he’s trying to get Jack away from her… I’m not here for it.
– Can we talk about how Nolan’s love interests jump from boys to girls then back to boys without even a second glance…
