SPOILER ALERT! (stop reading if you don’t want to know what happens in this episode)
So let’s talk about last night’s episode of Revenge… Conrad enlists Aiden to take of of Jack since he believes he’s the one who cut the brakes on his car and tried to kill him. He shows up at the bar and tells Jack about Conrad’s plan and warns him to leave. Victoria is up to her games as she tries to prove that Emily isn’t right for Daniel. She tells Emily about Conrad believing Jack tried to kill him after Charlotte told her Emily still visits him.
She has Aiden track her to see if she’d go to Jack and miss the launch of Daniel’s magazine. She goes of course and finds out that Jack isn’t leaving, but that Aiden is the one who threatened him. On her way from the bar she runs into Aiden and they have a heated back and forth. Emily gives him one last chance to help her and not go behind her back. He tells Victoria that Emily didn’t go to Jack’s but was late to Daniel’s party because she was sitting on her porch.
When Emily finally arrives at the party a visibly upset Daniel pulls her to the side and pretty much cancels the wedding. Nolan has his heart on his sleeve and is falling hard for Patrick. Patrick finds out that Nolan went to his ex-wife and tells him he doesn’t want to see him again. After a brief talk with Victoria about relationships and past mistakes he goes to Nolan and they fix their differences.
Aiden finds out who really tried to kill Conrad and tells Victoria. Finding out it was Patrick, she has Charlotte go along with a false story that claimed Charlotte was the one who cut the breaks. Conrad instantly forgives her and Charlotte tells her mother she only did it to protect Jack, since no one but Victoria, Aiden and Emily knew Patrick tampered with Conrad’s car.
Emily sheds some of her icy exterior and shares a semi-truth about her childhood with Daniel to show him why she pushed people away. Daniel believes every word and the wedding is back on!
Some takeaways…
– I am over Margo, like seriously over her. Can we please write her out of the rest of this season… and I’m not here for her with Jack.
– Charlotte and her attitude is irking me and I still don’t believe her minor argument with Emily episodes ago justify this.
– From tonight (and previews) it seems like Nolan is going soft. Please don’t yank him in that direction.
– Five weeks until we see who shot Emily… I still can’t put my finger on it!
