SPOILER ALERT! (stop reading if you don’t want to know what happens in this episode)

Let me just start by saying Victoria Grayson is an evil b**ch. Okay, sorry, I just had to get that out of my system. As has been the forte all season, this episode was yet another where Emily and Victoria went tit for tat.

Most of the episode focused on the co-ed bridal shower which was kind of a game changer for a lot of people. We start off finding out that Daniel has been sneaking around meeting Sarah (I’m still not a fan of her or this relationship). Emily follows him to the farmer’s market where she confronts Sarah and gives a a sob story making Sarah feel guilty about running around behind Emily’s back. She goes to tell Victoria that she’s not going to help her but Victoria insists that she come to the bridal shower so she could see what type of person Emily really is (greedy and power hungry according to Victoria).

Meanwhile, Charlotte’s phone has been stolen and she’s be black mailed by someone who threatened to sell her nude photos (which she just happened to take while abroad) to the tabloids, so she enlists Aiden’s help. At the bridal shower they play a game of bringing someone from Daniel and Emily’s past. While an old college friend is Daniel’s surprise Victoria finds Emily’s ex husband. Emily conveniently turns the story around so Victoria looks like a vindictive person; claiming she married him to help him secure a visa so he could marry his same sex partner. This is when Daniel realizes he doesn’t want to marry Emily because she’s too much like his mother. Sarah on the other hand is planning to run for the hills, confronting Victoria and telling her to stop meddling in her son’s life.

Aiden tracks down the person who stole Charlotte’s phone, and meets him at the Stowaway wear he brutally beats him up in front of the patrons, Jack and Charlotte; then pretty much tells Jack to test him if he wants to but he’ll end up like the guy he’d just beaten.

Daniel invites Sarah to the safe harbor for mistresses, as had been passed down from Conrad to him, where he confesses he still loves her and plans to call off the wedding. He then gives her a necklace he’d kept for all these years. Victoria calls Emily over and tells her about the Grayson men “safe harbor” and has Emily call there to prove that Daniel was just like his father. When she calls the butler answers assuming he’s talking to Victoria and confirms that Daniel is there with Sarah. Meanwhile Nolan returns home to find Aiden (his current roommate) bandaged and online shopping for a gun. Aiden tells him about what happened with Charlotte and how he pretty much used her to get her IP address so the purchase of the gun could be tied to Victoria. He then tells Nolan a super top secret that he can’t tell anyone else (including the viewing audience).

We then end with Emily sitting at home with a wrapped box waiting for Daniel. He returns home with plans to tell Emily that the engagement is off, but she insists she goes first. She’s hands them the box and talks about how she followed him to the farmer’s marker and how her emotions have been all over the place. She then does the most desperate girlfriend/fiancee move in the history of mankind and drops the we’re pregnant bomb… Now we have to wait three weeks to see how this all plays out and what really happens at this faux wedding that Emily has planned. Oh yea, and Lydia from season one who we all thought was dead… she’s back.

Some takeaways….

– I’m so upset about this desperate pregnant angle Emily took to keep the whole wedding thing going. I mean, I’m all here for doing what you have to do but that is THE oldest trick in the book!

– Margo and her digging has dug up Lydia and I’m certain that will only mean trouble. Interested to see what drama she brings to the table after we return from this 3 week hiatus.

– Not a fan of Charlotte still. She wasn’t as present this episode as in previous ones, but the whole “I hate Emily” thing is getting old… at least for me.

– Oh Jack, I feel like he’s getting the brunt end of the stick out of this entire situation. I’m also not here for him and Marge (because I’m not here for Margo at all).

– My prediction is that something is going to happen at this wedding that’s going to go against Emily’s plan and she’s going to have to return. I mean, ish is getting way out of hand and now I’m just ready to see how this all plays out.
