It’s that time of the season! Fashion shows are pretty much wrapped up and we think we’ve seen enough to forecast what trends you’ll want to try come fall this year… as if we’re even thinking that far.
If I had to describe Fall 2014 in one word it would be luxurious. From just about each collection there was a subtle or not so subtle hint of pure luxury.While there were many similar trends that strutted down the runway, four in particular stood out. Check them out below!
Black & White Prints, Patterns & Textiles
As always, blacks and whites are nothing new regardless of the season. For fall, this classic combo gets a little more exciting because it was spotted on the runways in various prints, patterns and textures. You’ll definitely want to mix and match these chic pieces!
Dark Teals
If there were ever a “rich” looking color, for me at least, it would be teal. This color dominated various collections in different finishes and textures. Rock it from head to toe as a monochromatic or mix it with some of the season’s other rich hues!
Tea Length Silhouettes
You thought the midi was the ultimate girly silhouette, think again. The tea length silhouette was on a lot of designer’s minds this season. Flowy or sleek and straight; paired with slouchy knits and layers you’ll want to add this feminine piece to your fall wardrobe!
Luxe Outerwear
Your outerwear doesn’t have to be dowdy and multiple luxurious coats and jackets walked the runway for fall. From metallics, to furs and luxe patterns, you’ll turn heads outdoors as well!.
