We’re a few days out from May which means we’re that much closer to summer– although it doesn’t quite feel like it. To take advantage of the in-between weather, we thought of some fun outdoor activities that you just might want to add to your spring into summer fitness to-do list! Give your skin some much needee vitamin D and get to it with these activities listed below!
Hiking
Whether you live in a city or a hilly tree covered oasis, you can burn quite a few calories by hiking you local trails. Finding a trail nearby is as easy as putting your city or zip code with hiking or trails in Google search. Choose a short or long trail and get lost exploring nature while getting a workout in!
Bike riding
Bike riding is a great way to burn calories without even thinking about it. You can bike a trail or ride along the street; either way you’ll find a quick ride to be a relaxing and body shaping activity you’ll enjoy doing.
Outdoor workout classes
Warmer weather means you can move your indoor workouts outside! This is a great time to take advantage of local outdoor workout classes which can include anything from yoga on the beach to Zumba in the park.
Beach volleyball
If you want to do something a little more competitive joining a summer volleyball team is sure to kick your body into gear. Not only will you get a great workout multiple times a week, but you’ll meet great people while doing it!
