SPOILER ALERT! (stop reading if you don’t want to know what happens in this episode)
Totally didn’t see the ending coming. This series just keeps getting juicier and juicier. Check out this week’s recap below!
Chase asks Sloane to meet him at the prison to tell her that he didn’t kill Olivia, but he did move the body to try to frame Oscar. He found her dead at their home; she had fallen over the banister but her nails had been dug into it meaning she tried to prevent the fall. He wants Sloane to help him bring down Oscar because he knows he’s involved. He tells her that he drove to another city to dispose of the shovel but it somehow ended up in the trunk of his car.
Sloane wants to know why Oscar would want Olivia dead. He tells her that she knew something and was going to reveal it at the groundbreaking. He tells her that Mia’s “suicide” was not really a suicide and that Oscar is connected to that and Olivia knew about it. Sloane is reluctant to help and leaves him without any answers.
Meanwhile, Zero and Jelena are continuing their bedroom romps and she reveals that she knows about Ahsha’s secret relationship and she’s working on a way to bring it to light so she’ll get fired. Ahsha on the other hand, is hanging out with Derek at his house because she still refuses to let them be seen out in public together.
Michael tells Sloane it’s time to pull out telling her he’s not a homicide detective and it’s getting to dangerous. Pete goes to Raquel to explain what happened between him and Jude and they reconcile to Jude and Lionel’s dismay.
The Devil Girls get ready to perform but Jelena tries to set Ahsha and Derek up to get aught on the Kiss Cam. After the performance things get a little mixed up because she ends up next to Derek and Ahsha ends up next to German on the Kiss Cam. The crowd pretty much pressures them into kissing and they do making Derek pretty upset.
Sloane goes to Ahsha to try to convince her to leave the Devil Girls. Ahsha refuses to leave and Sloane doesn’t even try to fight her about it. In the locker room, Zero tells Terrence that he had no idea about him and Jelena and he’d ended if need be. He tells him he’s more worried about his on court relationships and he’s over Jelena. Zero tells him that he’s got his back in trying to get a ring this season. He then turns around and tells Jalena about Terrence selling the restaurant he brought for her.
At the team photoshoot Ahsha and German both agree that the Kiss Cam thing meant absolutely nothing. Kyle tells Ahsha that Derek saw the kiss and Jelena confronts Terrence about selling the restaurant and he tells her that he didn’t need it anymore before leaving the shoot.
Oscar calls Chase in jail and pretty much threatens him, telling him that if he doesn’t he will still get to him behind bars. Sloane tells Michael that she can’t leave since Ahsha won’t. They decide that they have to figure out exactly what Olivia knew before she died.
Pete plans to take Raquel on a romantic getaway to San Francisco, but they’re interrupted on the plane by Jude and Lionel. Jude starts trying to apologize about his Sloane comments and they go to get a drink. While away, Lionel gets into Raquel’s head convincing her that Pete will eventually walk away from her and she should think about her son. Raquel asks that the plane be turned around. Once they get to her house, she tells Pete that she doesn’t know if he’s the right one for her because she doesn’t want him to do to her son what his father did to him.
Kyle believes one of her previous client’s, Pavle or Boston, fiancee Lexi is lying about being pregnant and goes to their bridal shower to sabotage the wedding. At the shower, Kyle goes through her purse and exposes all of the pills she was taking making her confess that she wasn’t really pregnant. To thank Kyle he gives her his ex-fiancee’s ring as a thank you.
To apologize for kissing German, Asha takes Derek to a secluded place overlooking the city as a “semi-public” date. He confesses that he’s in love with her and she tells him the same and they kiss, not realizing that Jelena had them followed by a photographer who (not so discreetly) takes pictures of them to send to her.
Pete confronts Lionel before the game about Raquel and she confesses that she’s there because she wants him. She tells him that’s why she’d been dragging out the divorce to wake him up. Pete tells her that they have history but he doesn’t want to be with her anymore. After the game, he tells Raquel that he knows she’s scared but he’s in this relationship 100%. She then introduces him to her son.
Bo (Bond’s Man) gives Kyle back the ring. She tells him that it’ll take longer to pay off Benny’s debt and he tells her that just means they need to find their next target. After another romping, Zero tries to get into Jelena’s head but she tells him that he doesn’t know who she is. Terrence, distraught after their loss and with his knee not getting any better, takes some drugs to ease the pain.
TMZ calls Derek in the middle of the night for a comment about pictures of him and Ahsha kissing. Oscar visits Chase in jail and Chase tells him that he signed the plea deal. Oscar tells him that he didn’t kill his wife so if neither one of them did, who did it. We then end with a scene of Jelena shredding a card that reads “No more secrets” that was from Olivia and addressed to Jelena, insinuating that she’s the one who killed Olivia.
Some takeaways…
– Totally didn’t see the Jelena thing coming. She has really been one evil biatch this season and this totally takes the cake. And don’t get me started on the TMZ thing…
– I’m not a Zero fan because I think he’s just a liar but I do want him to break down Jelena’s defenses so that we can finally find out what her deal is.
– Now that Lionel’s true intentions have been revealed I hope we won’t be seeing that much more of her. I know that’s not quite possible, but a girl can dream right…
