THE GAME OF THRONES HAS BEEN WON… SORT OF
The series finale of Game of Thrones happened and we have a winner. This was definitely a season you either hated, felt indifferently or loved. I definitely fell in the indifferent group but that didn’t stop massive debates from happening on and offline. Majority of you are going to disagree with my opinions about this season but that’s the fun in doing this podcast. Listen to my uncensored thoughts about this series above!
WHO TAKES THE IRON THRONE? SPOILERS!
I don’t think most people saw the winner of the iron throne being Bran. Tyrion somehow made the choice make sense but it definitely wasn’t a choice that most people were rooting for. Bran the Broken takes his place as the king of the six kingdoms but there isn’t an iron thrown to sit on thanks to Drogon.

Early in the episode Daenerys meets her demise at the hands of Jon following her insane killing spree through King’s Landing. Cersei and Jamie die in each others arms as a result of the massacre. At the meeting of the kingdoms Sansa declares the North as it’s own kingdom becoming the Queen of the North. Jon is banished to the Night Watch as punishment for killing Dany and sets off beyond the wall with the Wildlings. Arya sets off on her own adventure to explore the world west of Westeros.
A PERFECT ENDING?
No matter how upset you are about how things shaped up this season you can’t deny that the Stark children ended up where they wanted to be. Season 8 wasn’t a perfect season by a long shot but I’m not complaining. This was an event to end all events and I’m sure we’ll be talking about it for months to come or at least until the prequel premieres.
